ActiveCodeline and Inchoo are very good blogs, but thanks for the list, pretty good resource.
Version :magento.1.4.x.
It Has default order export functionality compare to older version. Presently we need to download extension to do order export.
Therefore Its better to use magento 1.4.x for new features.
